Search for a specific area of interest (e.g. disease, compound, target, etc), or an Individual Expert.


Search by Disease, Protein, Technique, Organism, Anatomy or Other. Using these keywords will also search synonyms and related terms.

When searching with Keywords you will be performing a tag based search which will result all of the Experts who have done some scientific activity which has been tagged as being relevant to that particular keyword. The keywords indexed in Monocl come primarily from the US National Library of Medicine's Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) keyword hierarchy. Click here to learn more about MeSH.


Use free text for terms that may not yet have a keyword associated, such as new genes or compounds. Free text search returns exact matches.
