One of the core functionalities of Engage is giving each user the possibility to either leverage the vast pool of expert profiles from Monocl Professional to enrich contacts used in their Engagement Plans or create a contact from scratch. Here you will find a quick guide on how to utilize both possibilities.
To get started, open an Engagement Plan or the Contacts tab and look for the blue Add Contact button. Here below you will see an example of adding a new contact from an existing Engagement Plan.
When clicking on the Add Contact button, you will be able to type the name of the expert you want to add to your contact list (pro tips: always use the format Name + Last Name). As soon as you finish typing, you will see two options available: one to create a brand new contact (red arrow) or an option to link this new contact you are creating to an existing profile in Monocl Professional (blue arrow).
After selecting one of the options you can click on Create Contact and that will be automatically added to your current contact list. You can create contacts in the same way from the Contacts tab, allowing you to insert new contacts even if you have not created an Engagement Plan yet. The Add Contact button will also be available on the Contacts tab.
Keep in mind that you can add much more information about each contact by clicking on the name of a contact you have already created and then in the icon indicated by the red circle below. A new page with several data options will open as you can check below.
